Many of us own dogs as pets. Unfortunately, some people own dogs that are aggressive and a danger people who live around them. Children are especially susceptible to being attacked by an aggressive dog and suffering a serious personal injury as a result of such an attack. Lawyers at my Florida personal injury law firm have handled various cases where a person has been seriously injured by an aggressive dog. 

There was recent article in the Miami Herald which described a seven-year-old boy's heroic actions in saving his younger brother and another four-year-old boy from being attacked by a German Shepherd that escaped under a fence. Unfortunately, the seven-year old boy suffered serious personal injuries. 

Dogs can be great pets; however, when they are aggressive they can pose a dangerous threat to anyone with whom they come in contact. Unfortunately, their victims are often young children.
