The beach can be a dangerous place as two sunbathers quickly learned in early November when they were struck by a Ford F-150 while lying on the beach. The two people were hit by a driver working for Boucher Brothers. The two beachgoers were transported to a local hospital. There injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. at Seventh Street on Miami Beach. It's not clear how the driver didn't see the two people lying on the ground. Miami law enforcement officers cited the driver for careless driving.

The owner of the vending company Boucher Brothers said that there has never been an incident involving his vehicles before. The owner also said that the was concerned about the victims. The owner and the driver are both cooperating with the investigation into the serious Miami car accident.

Several other high-profile beach accident have led to regulations for cars traveling along the beach. Miami Beach rules include staying away from garbage cans and driving on hard sand rather than soft sand.
